Fundraising Success

Well, the numbers are in! Last month’s Spring Fair brought in more $11,000 for the Home & School Association (H&S) – pretty much doubling the $5500 target the Spring Fair committee had set for the event!

As anyone who attended can attest, the event was more than just an excellent fundraiser. With fantastic weather (for the first time in several years!), a wonderful array of games and activities, amazing raffles, delicious food and new community-based attractions like Touch-A-Truck, this year’s Spring Fair was a resounding success all around.

Events and Activities Well-attended

Over the course of three gloriously sunny hours, more than 500 adults and kids enjoyed games like toilet toss and lollipop pull, bounced around in a giant inflatable, climbed all over a bunch of really cool vehicles and diligently ate their way through more than 360 hotdogs and hamburgers, 100 cupcakes and cookies, and 100 cups of coffee.

Georgia’s  family had so much fun they didn’t want to leave

Our Fantastic Community

Feedback has been uniformly positive from the LMST community and we are so proud of the dozens of volunteers who helped make this such a great event. It wouldn’t have happened without the hundreds of hours of effort from these folks and, as a school community, we are so, so fortunate to have support like this from our parents, caregivers, and neighbours. Thank you all.

A HUGE Shout-Out to Our Amazing Sponsors and Volunteers!

You made a fantastic day possible for hundreds of kids in our community. You rock!
