Jeanne Boudreau, LMST’s Principal, sent the following notice to all parents/guardians of students at Le Marchant about traffic in and around the parking lot at the big school:

The snow in the parking lot is going to take quite a while to melt, therefore, it is not possible for me to go out every day from 8:15 to 9:00 until it does. I am asking that everyone please be very careful around the school, especially on Watt St. and LeMarchant St., as the visibility is not good due to snow banks.

Also, the parking lot seems to be shrinking every day, so I ask that you continue to avoid the parking lot from 8:00 to 9:00 am. This will allow teachers to come in and park in the few spots available, and to keep students and staff safe.

We apologize again for the inconvenience this causes you and your family.

Hopefully, Mother Nature will begin cooperating and bring us Spring.

Thanks, Jeanne
