Spring Fair 2017

SpringFair

WHEN IS IT ?

Saturday, May 27th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

WHAT IS IT ?

The annual LMST Spring Fair is a family-oriented event put on by our ever-active Home and School Association and is one of our most popular extra-curricular events of the school year. Money raised at this event is used for much needed supplies, playground equipment and special programs that, without this fundraising, would not be possible.

In the great tradition of school fairs, our event includes a variety of carnival-style games, food and book sales, raffles, a cakewalk, bouncy-castles, a photo booth, face-painting, nail-art, the very popular outdoor BBQ and more!

An event like this doesn’t happen without lots of volunteers and we need your help! If you can volunteer any amount of time or any range of skills we can probably put it to good use. To find out more about how to volunteer please read the How Can I Help? section below.

WHERE IS IT?

If the weather holds (and the Farmer’s Almanac says it’s looking good so far!), oOur fair will take place outdoors at LMST. If not, we’ll move indoors at Central Junior High. We’ll decide by Friday evening and post which location on this website as soon as we’ve made the call.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST ?   WILL I NEED TO BRING EXTRA CASH ?

  • Admission bracelets are $10/child, adults are free.
(Each bracelet gains fast-track entry – no lines! – and unlimited turns on the bouncy castles.)
  • Food, raffles and the book sale will require cash on-site.
(We will not have credit/debit machines or ATMs available.)
  • All other games and events will be available by ticket only.
Tickets cost 50¢ each and can be pre-purchased using the same same form as the bracelets.

    • Games – 1 or 2 tickets
    • Cake walk – 2 tickets
    • Nail Art – 2 or 3 tickets
    • Photo booth – *we still need a photo booth captain to ensure this station is available*
    • Face painting – 2 tickets

CAN I BUY ADMISSION TICKETS AND BRACELETS IN ADVANCE ?   WHAT IF I DON’T BUY ENOUGH ?

Admission bracelets ($10) and tickets (50¢ ea.) can be purchased in advance by filling out the Pre-purchase Order Form and sending it, along with cash or a cheque, with your child to the school office.

Pre-orders will be accepted until Thursday, May 25th and will be sent home with your student the following day.

If you run out of tickets or decide at the last minute you can attend after all, bracelets and tickets will be available for purchase at the school. It might be worth noting we will not be limiting the sale of admission bracelets.
