Tattletales Coin Campaign

Bring in Your Coins for BOOKS!

Beginning Monday, February 5th, LeMarchant St. Thomas will be taking part in the ‘Tattletales Coin Campaign’. This is a way to raise money for the school so that the school may purchase NEW books for the Library!

For the month of February, the staff and students can bring in coins and place them in a bucket in their classroom. At the end of the campaign the money will be collected and given to the ‘Tattletales Coin Campaign’. Tattletales (an independent, family owned children’s bookstore that has been serving the Maritimes since 1995) will make sure that the school will receive every dollar they bring in PLUS a percentage of what Tattletales raises and donates. As well, schools will receive their regular 20% discount when making purchases.

All costs to run this program are covered solely by Tattletales and in no way does this cut into the amount they donate to the campaign.

Fun Days

School can’t be all work and no play . . . SO . . . we will have our February FUN DAYS where you pay to participate! (If you want to opt out of an event, that’s okay, you can choose to do none, one or all of them!) All it will cost you to participate is some COINS each special day!

Feb 5th – GUM DAY!
Bring your chewing gum and chew away all day long for a DONATION!

Feb 12th – HAT DAY!
Bring your favourite hat and the teacher won’t tell you to take it off for a DONATION!

Feb 19th – PAJAMA DAY!
Wear your most comfortable PJs . . . but it will cost you some COINS!

Feb 25th – TOY DAY!
Bring in your favourite toy or stuffy to play with at school for a DONATION! (School policy does not allow electronics)

Feb 29th – EXTRA RECESS DAY!
If your class raises over $10 on this day, they will be eligible for an extra recess! What a great way to end our fundraiser!

**If the school raises $500, Mrs. Stoilov will get duct taped to her CHAIR . . .

BUT if the school raises $1000, Mme. Boudreau will get duct taped to the WALL! That’s right, THE WALL!**
