MOVIE NIGHT HAS BEEN POSTPONED!

Watch for a new date in April.

It’s (not quite) Movie Time – check back soon though, new date TBA!

One evening in April, the LMST Home & School Association will be showing BIG HERO 6 on the big screen in the school gym. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the movie will start at 7:00 p.m., sharp!

Released late last year by Disney, this animated movie is an adaptation of the Marvel comic BIG HERO 6. It is an unconventional origin story that focuses on the power of brotherhood, friendship, and using your gifts to help others.

For a full-length review and trailer, check out:  Common Sense Media: Big Hero Six Review.

How much does it cost?

Admission is FREE. Donations will be appreciated and for every 1$ donated, you will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to own the movie.

We will also have a canteen with popcorn, candy, and beverages available for sale.

Who can come?

Admission is only open to the students of Le Marchant St. Thomas School and their designated chaperones. We apologize for this but due to Fire Marshall regulations, it is necessary to restrict numbers.

Did someone say child-minding…??!

Oh yes, we did! Parents, for a small fee of $5 per child, you can leave your children in the fine, capable hands of school staff members and take yourselves off on a date or for some ‘me’ time.

Just sign-in your child/ren at the door, where they will be met by Mme Boudreau, Mme Ring or Mme Taylor, our dedicated sitters for the evening. Of course, this service is only available to Le Marchant students. It is important you collect your child promptly after the movie, at 8:30 p.m.
